Abstract

This thesis aims collect and study the anomalous readings that were narrated from Imam Isa bin Omar Al-Thaqafi (d. 150AH) from their sources, with studying and directing them and clarifying their relationship to the frequent readings, and a statement of who agreed with him regarding them.

This research included an introduction and two chapters:

The first chapter: (theoretical section) in which a definition of Imam Isa bin Omar Al-Thaqafi with an indication of his knowledge standing was introduced, also a definition of choice in readings, its stages, its origin and development.

The second chapter: (Applied section), in which the anomalous readings narrated from Isa bin Omar Al-Thaqafi were collected and studied, and the research was concluded with a conclusion that included the most important results and recommendations, and the necessary indexes were appended.
