Career evaluation of the Marinid state ministers (656-767 AH - 1258-1365 AD)

Abstract

The position of Ministry is considered as an important position among "Banu Marin", and the tasks carried out by the minister were numerous and varied, he sometimes prepared armies and led them to suppress some seditions and revolutions, or the guardianship over a region of the state was based on him due to its importance. His role also represented in supervising the collection of levies, considering governors, filing complaints, and exercising judgment in some of them.
