“Ibn Radwan” represents both an intellectual and medical phenomenon. His practice of medicine represented a qualitative shift in the foundations of the medical field in the Arab-Islamic civilization. His treatment methods and practices represented an approach followed by many of his predecessors and his acquisition of the medical profession was influenced by what Socrates brought, but he did not satisfy with that, but rather added to it and developed a methodology for it. “Ibn Radwan” followed the method of examining patients before giving them the medicine, but rather adopted diagnosis in search of the cause to reach the result.
