This research examines the reconciliation of narrations according to Yahya ibn Sallam al-Basri in his Tafsir (Quranic Exegesis) using the phrase "and it is one", in a compilation and study. Imam Yahya ibn Sallam was dedicated to the interpretation of the Glorious Quran, and he became an authority whose jurisprudence and Tafsir were subsequently transmitted. The researcher has reflected on his methodology in presenting the transmitted narrations and guiding them. I found that he made a commendable effort in reconciling the sayings of the Salaf (Pious Predecessors), and I noted a recurring expression in his edited Tafsir, which is his phrase "and it is one". He means by this that although the wordings may be multiple, the meaning is one. The researcher has studied this exegetical phenomenon, directed it, and commented on it. The importance of the research and the reasons for its selection lie in the temporal precedence of Yahya ibn Sallam's Tafsir and his scholarly status, which makes his Tafsir a mainstay of Tafasir (plural of Tafsir). He is one of the great trustworthy Imams whose views and narrations are relied upon. The reconciliation of the sayings of the Salaf in Tafsir and their guidance dispel the illusion of contradiction and inconsistency in their statements. The research aims to highlight Yahya ibn Sallam's approach to reconciling the sayings of the Salaf that are mentioned in the verse and studying them scientifically. One of the most prominent findings of the research is that Yahya ibn Sallam is one of the early Imams who went into understanding and criticism in Tafsir, and he expresses his reconciliation and harmonization of the sayings of the Salaf by saying: "and it is one", which is a single aspect.
