The mother occupied a prominent place in Arabic poetry throughout the literary eras, and according to her importance and position, she emerged in Arabic poetry in general and Islamic poetry in particular. Poets expressed her more, and because of the sincere feelings that rose within them, a number of poets stopped to express their familial feelings towards the mother. Contemporary Islamic poets have expressed their feelings towards mothers by drawing inspiration from reality and its past engraved in their memory and restoring it to be a help for them in the formation of their poems that immortalized the mother and her sacrifice for them. Islamic poets presented poems characterized by artistic honesty and strong feelings, in addition to their adoption of a clear, understandable and easy language far from affectation and complexity.
