Abstract

The research aims to study the relationship between climatic characteristics, specifically climatic elements (rain) on water resources in the city of Nasiriyah, the center of Dhi Qar Governorate, and by knowing the data on rainfall (mm) as well as the hydrological data of the Euphrates River drainage in the study area, then comparing these hydroclimatic data to find out Relationship and impact, using some statistical methods, maps and graphical shapes to analyze and interpret the type of relationship for the study period 1990-2020 to know the extent of the temporal change in this relationship, as well as to compare the type of relationship between rainfall and water resources between the dry and wet seasons for the years 1990, 2015 and 2020.
