The health function of the city of Tarhuna in Libya and its role in achieving sustainable development

This study aims to identify the reality of health services in the city of Tarhuna through a number of health indicators and their application to determine the efficiency of these services in accordance with local and international standards, and to highlight the regional role of these services. In this study, we attempt to answer the question: What is the role of health facilities in achieving sustainable development through the quality services they provide on a permanent and renewable basis? The population was studied in terms of its size and growth, and the sustainable development of health services. The study used the descriptive analytical approach. A questionnaire form was designed to collect data and distribute it to the study sample, which numbered (100) individuals. The study included three aspects, the first was the growth and development of population and health services in Tarhuna, the second aspect dealt with the efficiency of those institutions and the services they provide, while the third aspect dealt with the health functional region of the city of Tarhuna.
