Abstract

The research entitled " The Construction of Sulaymaniyah City by Ibrahim Pasha Baban in 1784" deals with the motives of the governor Ibrahim Pasha for building the city of Sulaymaniyah and making it a center for the Baban Emirate, as well as the reasons for choosing its location, naming it by this name, and the most important buildings and public utilities contained in the newly established city.
