Abstract

There are battles that remain memorable even decades or centuries later. The Osprey campaign is one of the most important campaigns of the Hundred Years' War (1337-1453), also known as the Battle of Agincourt, and is one of the most remembered names in English military history. The forces of the English King Henry V were tired and hungry and faced a French army three to six times larger.. The battle took place on October 25, 1415 near the village of Agincourt in northern France, during which the English army led by Henry V managed to defeat the French army, which was outnumbered by it, Where the English long archers, with the support of a small number of spear-carrying infantry and a small cavalry, managed to inflict a great defeat on the French army, which consisted of a large number of cavalry.
