The Semantic Employment of Letters and Devices in Surat Az-Zukhruf

Abstract

            The research dealt with the different connotations of prepositions and articles mentioned in Surat Al-Zukhruf. The issue of studying the meanings of letters is considered one of the important issues that has an important role in clarifying the meaning. Linguists and grammarians also focused on studying it. Because it is considered one of the means of linking in the structure on which the work of grammarians focuses, as scholars of jurisprudence and principles have concerned it, because of its importance in interpreting Qur’anic verses, and directing and clarifying their meanings. The research was limited to studying the meanings of prepositions and articles by explaining the connotations in the blessed Surah.
