(Spatial Organization oF Parliamentary Elections in Waist Governorate)

Abstract

The spatial organization of the elections in Iraq, especially in the new organization of the elections in Iraq, is unlike the remaining systems in force that were organized over the various previous sessions since 2006 up to the 2018 elections, as Iraq adopted the new multiple electoral districts system, which was approved according to the Iraqi Elections Law, According to population proportions ,This means that the mechanism for demarcating electoral districts is to challenge each group of sub-centers to be an electoral district, in addition to that these centers include approximately   (100.000people) based on Article 49 of the Iraqi law, where the demarcation of electoral districts is a result of the total electoral system and is not considered independent, which remains on the same goal, which is to achieve the will of the people with a representative authority represented in the interest of the people.
