Abstract

The research entitled "The Family and Social Formation of the Shabandar Family and Their Economic Role in Iraq to the Year 1917" deals with the most prominent personalities of the family that had a clear role in several fields in the history of Iraq, the most important of which is the economic aspect, where they had a clear imprint on it by obtaining several privileges in the era The last Ottoman concession, the most important of which is the concession of the Najaf Tramway in 1906, the concession of the Tramway and the enlightenment of the city of Baghdad in 1912, and the establishment of the Islamic Company in 1916.
