Abstract
The short story is one of the narrative discourses, and a literary genre that deals with the human issues of the universe, life and man, and it has its artistic structure that can only be based on elements that are its pillar, and it is the construction of the event, the character building, time with its branches, place, linguistic structures and the narrator’s location.
I have deliberately taken a part of these factors, which is the place because of the constants from which the narrator starts in building the story, and the vision was given to an Iraqi Mosul narrator who wrote a collection of stories and he excelled in it, namely (Ibrahim Suleiman Nader), indicating his uses of the place.
