Imam Al-Taybi used grammatical terms of all kinds, and he did not adhere to a specific grammatical school of thought. Anyone who turns his book will find that he used the visual terminology and the Kufic terminology alike, in addition to his use of common terms agreed upon by the two schools of thought. He was not fanatical about a particular grammatical school of thought, and this had a clear and evident effect in the book. Al-Lama'at by Sheikh Dehlawi, he used the Basri terminology and the Kufic terminology, although they were few compared to the terminology of the Basrans, and the terminology common between them.
My research revolved around the book Lam’at al-Tanqih. Because it is one of the most important books explaining the Noble Hadith, we found it to be a suitable topic for study, and it highlights more of the grammatical value of this great book. It did not get its due, like its counterparts, in grammatical study. It received the attention of researchers before, which prompted me to delve into it and explore its depths.
