Abstract

The study of this research comes to monitor some opposing binaries, especially (hope / despair) in Ibn Al-Khayyat’s poetry, which achieved unique meanings for poetry. And whiteness, day and night, and others... The aim of this research is to show the duality of hope and despair in Ibn Al-Khayat's poetry. figuratively, to reveal through it an integrated philosophical, intellectual, and life system.
