Abstract

One Thousand and One Nights is one of the national stories. The tales and stories in this book are not legends, just as the tales in this book cannot be considered part of the legends, but at the same time they are not far from the legends. The tales and stories of the Thousand and One Nights are in fact a disparate analysis of the myths. There was a girl named Scheherazade, who is the main character and heroine in the story, telling a story to the king every night and to protect and continue her life she postponed the story until the next night. Because King Bahir marries, and in the morning he kills the woman he marries, so these stories last for a thousand and one nights. Among the famous stories of this series, we can mention the story of Aladdin and the magic lamp, which has attracted the attention of many filmmakers around the world. The novel of One Thousand and One Nights is the embodiment of two ancient Iranian ideas: "being in battle" and "institutional thinking" which is studied in this research in an analytical and descriptive manner and using library studies as much as possible in order to deepen the impact of this book on other works of Iranian literature that must be examined. The results show that the stories of this book are attributed to a specific region such as Mesopotamia and Iran, and examples of legends from these places can be seen in some parts. In any case, the Thousand and One Nights is one of the folk tales, and it was mentioned in many books before and after it. You can also read stories like "A Thousand and One Nights" in the folk tales of Khorasan and Persia.
