Pragmatic Presupposition and its Relationship to the Characteristics of Rhetorical Structures

The idea of presupposition emerged from the efforts of logicians who worked to modify the course of human thought by purging it of worn-out basics and wrong premises. Then it entered the science of linguistics and linguistic and rhetorical studies, when its semantic importance and role in the rhetoric of speech was proven. This research studies the phenomenon of presupposition and its presence in the arts. Semantics, with two topics: defining the phenomenon of presupposition, its origin and characteristics, and the second is the role of presupposition in giving an aesthetic and literary character to the arts of composition.
