Abstract

The study showed that the geographical distribution of voters in the districts of Anbar Governorate was varied, as the number of voters in Fallujah district reached (363,669) voters, i.e. (94.14%) of the total number of voters in Anbar Governorate, while the number of voters decreased in Rawa district to (12294).  Voters, i.e. (51.32%) of the total number of voters in Anbar Governorate for the year 2018. As for the geographical distribution of the electoral centers, it was not appropriate with the number of those registered in all the districts, and the increase or decrease in the numbers of the electoral centers for the (2018) must be reviewed.  The study also showed that more than half of the registrants did not vote, as the participation rate reached (39%) for the year 2018 of the total number of registrants, in addition to the fact that the general and actual density in the districts of Anbar governorate did not match due to the low number of participants.  The allocated parliamentary seats did not match the estimates of the population in Anbar Governorate, and the district of (Fallujah) had the largest share in the percentage of participants (45.59%) in the 2018.
