Abstract
The research dealt with the most important contemporary intellectual issues, including globalization, democracy, the rapprochement of civilizations, the position of religious discourse on them, and methods of responding to them. The research presented the ability of Islam and its theories to be an alternative to contemporary philosophical ideas and systems. The research dealt with three topics, the first began by talking about globalization and explaining the trends of religious discourse and its position. Among them, then the second is about the position on democracy, and in conclusion the third section came, explaining the religious discourse and its vision towards the thesis of the acquaintance of civilizations and its importance, and from God Almighty he derived help and success.
