The grammatical interpretation of Ibn Daqeeq al-Eid (d. 702 AH) in his book Ahkam al-Ahkam

Abstract

This research aims to show the effort of Imam Ibn Daqeeq Al-Eid in his employment or use of language in explaining the hadith of the Prophet. In most of his explanations he cited or inferred something linguistic or explained some words that needed clarification linguistically. I found in the book a lot of linguistic topics. Among those topics is (grammatical interpretation), which the imam mentioned in his book without declaring the term interpretation. He merely indicated that. That is, what he mentioned, the thought often goes only to this term. In this research, I will mention its concept, types, and how the imam mentioned it in his book.
