Abstract

An artistic study of the image of "I" in the poetry of Ajwad Mijbil

The image of “I” is one of the most prominent pictorial studies in modern literature, and it has won the attention of critics a lot due to its artistic aesthetic, as the poet often tries to show himself in the names of the images and embodies them in the best artistic suits. Therefore, poets took care of them from ancient times, and the poet was the finest Al-Iraqi is one of the most prominent poets in the modern era, he excelled in drawing his artistic image, and the image of "I" appeared in his poetry with a high degree of quality, and he drew in it his personal characteristics and the characteristics of his people, so we seek in this article to study the image of Anna in poetry through the descriptive analytical approach.

The research concluded that the poet Ajwad Majbil cared in his love for the image in his poetry, and the image of “I” was brilliantly manifested in his poetry, and it appeared in two types: the singular and the plural represented by the form “we.” In general, the concept of “me” in his poetry meant most of the time himself first and the Iraqi and Arab people second We find him portraying himself and his people with the best features, as well as showing some of his people’s weaknesses. “I” in the poet’s diwan carried many connotations and was characterized by many positive features, such as loyalty, steadfastness, hope, courage, forgiveness, purity, misery, cooperation, and a wide range of drawing in various similes and metaphors. ...
