Abstract
The historical study in topics that shed light on behavioral phenomena is one of the characteristics of modern historical writing, due to the importance of knowing the motives and reasons for the emergence of these behaviors throughout history, and thus working to reduce and limit the emergence of these behaviors as much as possible. These behaviors are the phenomenon of banditry and bandits, which appeared widely from the beginning of the seventh century until the end of the tenth century AH (13_16 AD) for many motives, foremost of which was the turmoil of the political situation in the countries of the Islamic Maghreb, These crises are accompanied by a hostile behavioral deviation on the part of some unscrupulous people, so that banditry and bandits become a regular occurrence that accompanies crises.
